The Tomatin distillery is in existence since 1897. The Tomatin name is derived from a
gaelic word meaning "the hill of the Juniper bushes". It is Scotland's most
productive single source of malt whisky, another gaelic word meaning "the water of
life".
Its 10-year-old Highland
Malt has a lightly peated and delicate flavour : it is carefully matured in oak barrels
for a minimum of ten years.
