In 1943, San Francisco businessman Paul Fagan purchased 14,000 acres in Hana : starting with 300 Herefords, he converted the cane fields to ranch land.
When he died in 1959, his family erected this memorial on Lyon's Hill, which was his favorite place for spotting the sunset.
