Cable cars have no motors or power of their own. They are towed along tracks in the streets by a moving cable : this is the only operating car system in the world.

Although cable carshave batteries for lightning, they do not operate under their own power and can only move by gripping onto the moving cable.

 

 

Transamerica Pyramid, world headquarters of Transamerica Corporation (a leading financial services company). With its 48 stories and spire, the Pyramid is San Francisco's tallest building, reaching a total height of 853 feet.
